Sean was wonderful and gave me a detailed breakout of cost during the estimate process, and Lyle and Christian did an excellent job overseeing the project. Everyone was timely, kept me informed, and walked me through each step of the process. My screened in porch turned out beautiful. My friends think I have a glassed in porch because the screens are almost invisible looking. I couldn’t be happier with both the finished project and my experience with Builders America. Builders America was one of the few high-end deck builders that was willing to take on my very challenging, steep slope deck rebuild, and the only one with the patience to walk through options and discuss various approaches so that I could satisfy myself they were a good fit before I paid them thousands of dollars for design services. In addition, I had some permitting challenges due to my proximity to a stream, but Stan's long-time experience and knowledge of the local code offices meant everything went quickly and smoothly. Communication was excellent through every stage of the process. I always felt comfortable speaking up when I saw something I didn't like or understand; issues were resolved very quickly. The construction team was great - hard workers who know their stuff and respectful of my property. My project was well into six figures, and I am satisfied that I got value for my money. My deck is beautiful and I don't know if I've ever walked on one that felt more sturdy. Just a first-class experience all around.

I highly recommend and trust Builders America. We hired them twice before and will hire them again to do our kitchen remodel. A few years ago we hired them to replace and expand the deck on our prior house. The workmanship was top-notch, the project was on time and they stood behind their work. This summer we moved to a townhouse which had double-decker porches that were not structurally sound. In addition to replacing the porches, we wanted to remove one of the structural posts in the middle. They engineered a way to do so that was more economical than originally thought. Again, the quality of their work was excellent and their team was easy to work with. They made sure everything was to our satisfaction before finishing. If you are looking for a trustworthy company to work on your home, I would highly recommend them!

We worked with them to build a sunroom/deck extension and couldn't be happier. We use it every day. My favorite aspects of working with them include prompt responses (some prefer texting, some prefer email - but once you figure it out, you always hear back), detailed knowledge of their craft, and just generally respectful of us and our property. They're pricey, but I feel like I can really stand behind their quality work. I look forward to using them again for future projects.

The entire team is amazing. Stan and Juan did an almost undoable job of getting our floating stair landing jacked up and secured so that it did not come out of the wall. Exactly four years ago this month, we had Builders America build our four seasons porch. The entire process, from beginning to end, was first class. During Stan's initial visit, he made a number of recommendations that we incorporated in the final product, including a bead board and block ceiling. Measuring the actual panels was Lyle's responsibility; when the materials were installed, he was spot-on. The install team had a real perfectionist as its leader. If a process didn't go as expected, he would have it redone until it met the company's high standards. Operationally, we love the fact that the windows can be opened from the bottom or from the top, or closing certain panels while leaving other panels closed, making the room usable regardless of which direction wind or rain is coming from. Yes, it can get cool in the winter, but these windows won't let cold wind blow through like a screened-in porch. The windows can easily be popped out, rinsed off with a hose and dried with a micro towel and popped in. Having said all of that, the icing on the cake is when you get to talk with Marla! Marla is gracious, courteous and a professional ambassador for Builders America! Give them a try. You'll see I'm not wrong.

Builders America Inc has consistently done excellent work of cleaning, sanding, and oiling a Brazilian wood (IPE) deck every 1-3 years. The deck was weathered before, and looked beautiful after Builders America completed cleaning, sanding, and oiling.
